The North Penn High School (NPHS) student newspaper, The Knight Crier, is hosting a school board candidate forum on October 11, 7 pm, in the NPHS auditorium (1340 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale).

Seven of the ten candidates vying for five open seats in the November 7 election will participate in the forum, allowing community members to learn more about those running as well as their views on important issues in the North Penn School District. The event is student-run, with students from The Knight Crier serving as moderators, timekeepers, organizers, and more. This is the fourth forum held by The Knight Crier, allowing students a voice in an election that affects their school and community,

Participating candidates include Vince Altieri, Diana Blystone, Tim MacBain, Juliane Ramic, Kunbi Rudnick, Liz Vazquez, and Cathy Wesley. Topics covered will include referendum and renovations, curriculum policy and equity, and school safety.

The forum is open to all members of the North Penn community of all ages. For those not able to attend in-person, North Penn Television will broadcast the forum on local Comcast channel 28, Verizon Channel 29, and radio broadcast on WNPV 98.5 FM, 1440 AM.
